Our Story: The Dirtbag Creed

The "Perfect Dad" is a Myth.

We’ve all seen the curated version of fatherhood—the spotless khakis, the organized playrooms, the quiet Sunday mornings. But real fatherhood? It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s early mornings in the gym, late nights in the garage, and getting dirt on your favorite shirt because your kid wanted to wrestle.

Why "Dirtbag Daddies"?

In the world of climbing and outdoor sports, a "dirtbag" is someone who ditches the comforts of a normal life to stay committed to what they love.

We’ve reclaimed that for the dads. A Dirtbag Daddy is a man who’s traded the "polished" life for the real one. He’s the guy who might be a little rough around the edges, but he’s the first one on the floor playing with his kids and the last one to quit when things get tough.

Present Over Perfect.

Started by Joey Amos, Dirtbag Daddies was born out of the boxing ring and the living room. As a dad, I realized my son didn't care if I had the right answers or the cleanest gear—he just cared that I was there.

Our gear is built with that same spirit:

  • Rugged Construction: Heavyweight cotton that handles the grind.

  • Urban Aesthetic: Workwear-inspired fits that look as good at the gym as they do at the park.

  • A Simple Mission: To honor the men who keep showing up, even when they’re tired.

We aren't aiming for perfection. We’re just aiming to be present.

Welcome to the Crew.
